I smell a conspiracy theory coming…

Could American Idol be rigged? No, not by Fox, Coke, Ford or Cingular. But by tech savvy voters? Well Tom Keating of VoIP & Gadget Blog sure thinks so.

Check out his post American Idol Banned for the details. But long story short, could a few people rig up a computer that automatically calls in votes? Well its not technically impossible, actually its pretty easy.

But luckily for us, he also thinks that Sanjaya may have the cheaters on his side. Who would have thought that suck a cute innocent little boy (who just happens to suck at singing) would be the mastermind behind an international scam?

All I got to say about that is I don’t care how it happens, but Idol’s gotta go. I wonder what Meghan Paul has to say about this lack of morals in our prime time viewing?
